We can’t do this alone so to understand what’s important to our colleagues we run bi-annual engagement surveys and regular feedback sessions with our CEO. DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
At Ice Travel Group we welcome everyone regardless of their background, age, ethnicity, gender identity or learning preference. Our differences are the things that make us special and that’s why we do everything we can to be inclusive. We create an environment where we value and encourage different ideas and views, adding to our culture, not just fitting into it. Key to this is offering equal parental leave following the birth or adoption of a child (three months at full pay), work pattern flexibility, flexible bank holidays and proactive mental health support.
Health and happiness
Supporting the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of our colleagues really matters. And it’s something we take very seriously. We offer a range of wellbeing programmes including an Employee Assistance Programme, Health Cash Plan, Private Medical Insurance, free access to mindfulness and wellbeing apps, a number of trained Mental Health First Aiders and offer paid time off for colleagues who experience pregnancy loss, are undergoing fertility treatment or experiencing menopause.
We recognise that a culture of flexibility will enable our colleagues to be at their best and where possible they are empowered to work in a way that suits them. Our hybrid working model accommodates both home working, for that deep individual work when we need time and space to think, and time in the office, when we need to collaborate on complex activities, ease of communication, and to build and maintain relationships – especially for new colleagues within Ice Travel Group. Typically, our colleagues will spend two days a week working from one of our three offices.
We’re a diverse workforce who don’t all celebrate the same thing. To support and recognise this, colleagues can flex bank holidays to take time off at times that are most meaningful to them. This means they could choose to work a bank holiday and swap this for another day off instead. For example, they may want to work the Easter bank holidays but take time off for Eid instead or switch a day to take time off during Pride Month.
LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

Our culture encourages learning at every opportunity, and we want our colleagues to grow, develop and reach their potential. To facilitate this, colleagues meet with their manager at the end of each quarter for a discussion about their performance to date, progress against objectives, development needs, future aspirations and behaviours that drive our culture (Ice Travel Group Tiips). Through these meaningful conversations colleagues are supported to tap into their strengths, values and future possibilities!
Company get togethers
As we are split over three locations, it’s super important to get together to talk about the business and spend time together to build and maintain relationships. Typically, we get together in person three times a year for business updates, to focus on the future and, importantly have fun. At Christmas, we have a big party where we also give out our annual Ice Travel Group Tiips awards.
